About NB7
Music has been part of NB7’s life for as long as he can remember. From harmonica and trumpet to guitar, synthesizers and samplers, he developed his musical language largely by ear, guided more by listening, intuition and experimentation than by formal theory.
Influenced by progressive rock, long-form compositions and artists such as Mike Oldfield and Pink Floyd, he began composing and performing in the early 1990s with the band Funguy’s. He deliberately chose not to pursue music professionally, preserving it instead as a space of complete creative freedom.
His work combines guitar, symphonic rock, electronic textures and sound design. Every composition, arrangement and sound is created in-house, without the use of artificial intelligence.
Deeply connected to his Norman roots, landscapes, travels and personal encounters, NB7 also draws inspiration from his meeting with composer Christopher Tin in Los Angeles in 2019, which influenced his approach to voices, arrangements and large-scale musical structures.
A perfectionist by nature, he often lets compositions mature over time, building an evolving musical universe shaped by memory, place and personal stories.
